nukes is an american-born brazilian-ghanaian digital artist and video game developer. they are a fifth year fine arts major with a concentration in video game development, digital art, and animation at the university of cincinnati's college of design, architecture, art, and planning (daap). she has exhibited her work not only within daap, but also in the 2022 game devs of color expo and various curated steam sales.

currently, nukes is exploring diverse relationships, the idyllic midwestern mundane, and accessible play through video games, particularly with their games cryptid coffeehouse and kurou connect, the latter of which is slated for a demo release in april 2024.
